The symbol of the tree as our logo and brand reflects our approach. The tree's roots, branches and leaves all symbolise elements of our own approach to delivering education and learning across our Trust.
Reflecting this, our values were developed by Members, Directors, Staff and Pupils collaboratively to articulate exactly what we stand for. This guides our whole approach to learning and education. Our values are illustrated through our actions and deeds in our day-to-day life.
The individuality of our schools within a shared framework is important to us, and the role they each have in their community is key. Through collective action and supportive challenge, we can achieve so much more together.
Currently, our Trust consists of two schools rated GOOD by OFSTED, East Herrington Primary and Hetton Lyons Primary School.
East Herrington Primary Academy is a thriving school filled with smiles. It prides itself on caring for everyone in the school community to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. Children within school have many fantastic opportunities including sporting, musical and social experiences, which we believe enhances their development and helps to give them the best possible start to their education.
Hetton Lyons Primary is a kind and nurturing school, valuing each child. Our dedicated and committed staff team work hard to provide a safe and secure environment where every child can thrive and flourish. The school is at the heart of Hetton community, and heritage forms an important part of the curriculum.
